…with part of his conclusion here:

One expects such chiseling dishonesty from Sullivan, and such impishness from McCain (and, of course, both are trolling for links), but apparently Sullivan’s readers are harder to fool than you might think.

Although McCain is indeed trolling for links successfully I might add (who has apologized stating he had no intention of misrepresenting Glenn’s position) I think we must conclude that Sullivan’s readers are in fact easy to fool as evidenced that they are still reading Sullivan.

Of course Glenn was speaking comparatively to expectations so that is grading on a curve.

He is also slightly off on his Malkin Award statement, it is not because Michelle Malkin is a republican (Joe Scarborough is a republican) but she is a Conservative Republican of Color who appears on Fox news and is effective.

The only higher crime in the eyes of a Sullivan or a Johnson is having a last name rhyming with “mailin”.

Last week the Lonely conservative reported on the SEIU dropping dependent health care:

The fund informed its members late last month that their dependents will no longer be covered as of Jan. 1, 2011. Currently about 6,000 children are covered by the benefit fund, some until age 23.

We touched on it briefly on Saturday’s show, Michelle Malkin now reports that the SEIU is in full spin control mode today:

So if the new spin is now Gospel Truth, shouldn’t SEIU 1199 apologize to the 30,000 families that received the letter blaming Obamacare for making children’s coverage “financially impossible?”

What new spin? Apparently when dropping coverage the union said this:

“…(N)ew federal health-care reform legislation requires plans with dependent coverage to expand that coverage up to age 26,” Behroozi explained in an Oct. 22 letter to members. “Our limited resources are already stretched as far as possible, and meeting this new requirement would be financially impossible.”

Whoa Whoa Whoa we can’t be blaming Obamacare when our union worked so hard for it, so the message is changed anew to cover themselves.

To the union members who supported democrats and worked for democrats and watched your dues go to democratic coffers instead of your own pension funds I say this: You did this to yourselves!

I think the membership actually understands this…

…although Michelle gives details:

SEIU leaders have shown a special talent for squandering their workers’ dues. They poured $10 million down the drain in Arkansas on a failed bid to unseat Democratic

Sen. Blanche Lincoln. They spent $10 million on a nasty lawsuit against a competing union in California. They’ve burned through union dues to transport SEIU radicals to bully bank execs and their families at their private homes and to bus workers to Arizona to protest crackdowns on illegal aliens, who depress the wages of law-abiding working-class Americans.

Under former Purple Army Chief Andy Stern, the union’s liabilities skyrocketed from $7.6 million to nearly $121 million. Stern burned through $61 million to put Barack Obama and the Democratic ruling majority in place. And before abruptly stepping down in April, he installed a cadre of labor management stooges embroiled in financial scandals across the country.

The bottom line is if a union member crosses his steward he my find it hard to find work. The job of the Union has stopped being to protect it’s members and has become to produce votes and money for democratic candidates.

It will be up to the rank and file to do something about it.

Q: What was the first thought in my mind after coming home from a couple of hours of errands and seeing the following tweet from Michelle Malkin concerning James Jay Lee.

Not knowing who he is what would be your first thought?

Again that was before I knew anything about what was going on just seeing the tweet. I think that is the strongest critique of liberal academia today that I can think of.

Honestly if you knew nothing about that man other than the information from that tweet wouldn’t your first thought be NGO or Tenured Professor?
