Is there anyone brave enough and clever enough in the blogosphere…

to answer the swiffer challenge?

  1. USCitizen says:

    But of course.

Handguns may figure prominantly in the contest, I presume.

  2. I love curling, or as i call it Ice Bocce.

From what I understand about the sweepers in curling, the friction of the sweeping motion heats and melts the top layer of the ice thus allowing the rock to glide along a layer of water.

Then what I think happens is …with nothing to then to add friction, the spinning rock keeps moving forward. Not until it reaches a point that wasn’t swept is the rock able to move straight and turn as well hence the spinning. If you want to stop the spin, then you sweep on the side of the spin so that there is friction on the side into the spin slowing it down.

I love curling! And the curlgers, or couglers, or curlglers whatever those attractive curling women are called can continue to provide quality entertainment for all in 4 more years.
I love mens curling too just so I don’t come off as only watching for the hotties!
